To pass traffic through a configured prefix list, you must use <strong>the</strong> prefix list in a route redistribution<br />

command. The prefix list is applied to all traffic redistributed into <strong>the</strong> routing process and <strong>the</strong> traffic is<br />

ei<strong>the</strong>r <strong>for</strong>warded or dropped depending on <strong>the</strong> criteria and actions specified in <strong>the</strong> prefix list.<br />

To apply a filter to routes in RIP (RIP is supported on C and E-<strong>Series</strong>.), use ei<strong>the</strong>r of <strong>the</strong> following<br />

commands in <strong>the</strong> ROUTER RIP mode:<br />
