upgrading.<br />

4 Exit <strong>the</strong> Telnet session with <strong>the</strong> standby RPM. exit EXEC Privilege<br />

5 When <strong>the</strong> upgrade process is complete, you<br />

can leave <strong>the</strong> system as is. The new boot code<br />

loads upon <strong>the</strong> next power-cycle of <strong>the</strong> RPM or<br />

system. You can also reset <strong>the</strong> RPM<br />

immediately to see if <strong>the</strong> boot code<br />

downloaded successfully.<br />

6 Verify that <strong>the</strong> upgrade is successful, as<br />

shown in Figure 506 <strong>for</strong> RPMs and Figure 507<br />

<strong>for</strong> line cards.<br />
