To upgrade the RPM FPGA image:

1 Upgrade the FPGA image one or all
RPMs.
• If the currently running FTOS image
contains the required FPGA image, use
the keyword booted.
• If not specify another FTOS image file
URL.
Upgrading All FPGAs
You have the option of upgrading the FPGA on all linecards and RPMs at once (Figure 513). Only the
primary FPGA image can be upgraded; anre error message appears if the FPGA flash selection is set to B.
To upgrade all FPGAs on the system:
upgrade fpga-image rpm EXEC Privilege
2 Power-cycle the RPM. reset rpm power-cycle EXEC Privilege
Note: Steps 3 and 4 are not required if you have only one RPM installed. Step 4 is not required if you
upgraded all RPMs in Step 1.
3 Failover to the standby RPM. redundancy force-failover rpm EXEC Privilege
4 Upgrade the FPGA image on the RPM upgrade fpga-image rpm EXEC Privilege
5 Power-cycle the RPM. reset rpm power-cycle EXEC Privilege
Note: You must power-cycle the card so that the new FPGA image can be uploaded.
