whe<strong>the</strong>r or not a policy-map can be successfully applied to an interface cannot be determined without first<br />

measuring how many CAM entries <strong>the</strong> policy-map would consume; <strong>the</strong> command test cam-usage is<br />

useful because it provides this measurement.<br />
