Amit Duta, * 1977 in Jammu, Indien, schrieb Artikel
und Buchkritiken für ›The Kashmir Times‹. Er legte sein
Diplom als Filmregisseur beim Indischen Film- und Fernsehinstitut
in Puna ab.
This film is about a boy, his wish to grow his own flower. And
while he is doing that, his relationship with his family and the
country becomes an endless stream of mysterious rituals and symbols.
Amit Duta, * 1977 in Jammu, India, wrote articles and
book-reviews for ›The Kashmir Times‹. He made his diploma in film
directory at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.

Eine Liebesgeschichte über Manie und scharfe Zähne
zwischen einer Frau, die in einem Märchen gefangen ist,
in dem alles schief läuft, und einer männlichen Meerjungfrau
in einer Wirklichkeit, in der er zu ertrinken
droht. Ein Rätsel von Verhängnis und Begierde, in dem
das Opfer sich nach den Tränen des Mörders sehnt. Sie,
die Jägerin. Er, der zitternde kleine Fisch.
Katerina Athanasopoulou, *1974 in Griechenland,
studierte Bildende Kunst und machte im Jahr 2002 ihren
Abschluss MA für Animation am Royal College of Art,
London. Ihre Filme liefen auf internationalen Festivals,
ihre Animationen wurden sowohl in Theatern als auch
in Kunstgalerien gezeigt. Sie lebt in London, arbeitet als
Trickfilmzeichnerin und übt eine Lehrtätigkeit aus.
A love story of obsession and sharp teeth, between a woman
lost in a fairy tale gone wrong and a merman trapped in a reality
that drowns him. A conundrum of fate and desire, where the victim
longs for the murderer’s tears. She, the hunter; He, the trembling
little fish.
Katerina Athanasopoulou, *1974 in Greece, studied
Fine Arts before taking her Animation MA at the Royal College of
Art, London, in 2002. Her films have been widely seen at international
festivals, while her animations have appeared on the stage
as well as in art galleries. She lives in London, working as an animator
and teaching.
