der Armenier klappern in der Dob utca. Müde Europäer bummeln schleppend abends in der Váci utca. Im
›Pesti Szinház‹ hat das Stück ›Gulasch auf dem Tisch in der Paprika-Csárda‹ Premiere. Die Hunde werden in der
Murányi utca mit dem Taxi ausgeführt. Der Strassenbahnschaffner geht von der Nachtschicht zu Fuss nach Hause
über die beleuchtete Kettenbrücke. - Eine abstrakte Vision.

When the newspaper boy starts work in the suburb, the first train departs from Eiffel's ›Nyugati pu‹. The Armenians´ dustbins clatter
in the Dob utca. In the evenings, tired Europeans dawdle sluggishly on the Váci utca. The première of ›Gulasch auf dem Tisch in der Paprika-Csárda‹
is put on at the ›Pesti Szinház‹. Dogs are taken out by taxi in the Murányi utca. The tram-driver walks home over the illuminated
chain bridge after a night shift. - An abstract vision.
Antal Lux, *1935 in Budapest, has been living in Germany since 1956. 1960-65 studied painting and graphics at the State Academy
of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. US university scholarship (Garantiefonds) 1964 Prix International Salon de Paris, in Juvisy / France. 1993
Prize of the Hungarian Fine Artist´s Society, International Biennial of Arts, Györ / H. Since 1980 he has been making experimental videos
along with his painting. 1996 Prize at the 18h Tokyo Video Festival. ZKM Karlsruhe, Artist in Residence. 1st prize at the 5th Bremen
