Glasgow und Paris, die in Berlin lebt. Ihr Song ›Drowning‹
beschreibt einen aussichtlosen Moment im Leben,
der in einer psychadelischen Reise unter Wasser visualisiert
wird.
Nikki Schuster, *1974 in Steyr, Österreich, lebt und
arbeitet in Berlin. 1993-2001 Studium an der Universität
für Angewandte Kunst in Wien. 2001 Erweiterungsstudium
für Experimentelle Mediengestaltung an der Universität
der Künste Berlin. Gründung von Fiesfilm (Trickfilmproduktion).
2001-06 Teilnahme an diversen internationalen
Kurzfilmfestivals. TV Produktionen für
ARTE/RBB, Bühnenbild/ Videoprojektionen für das
Depot X / Staatstheater Stuttgart.
Impure Thoughts is a Rock and Roll Band from Glasgow and
Paris, who lives in Berlin. Their song ›Drowning‹ describes one desperate
moment in life, which is visualized in a psychedelic underwater-trip.

Der Broker und der Dealer bauen mit ihrer neuen
Videophone-Dating-Technologie ein Business-Imperium
auf. Doch die Öffentlichkeit ahnt nicht, dass sich dahinter
die Popgruppe Broker/Dealer verbirgt und dass das
Videophone in Wirklichkeit Teil eines automatisierten
Überwachungsnetzes ist, das ihre Musik hervorbringt.
C-Trl Labs ist ein professionelles und künstlerisches
Gemeinschaftsprojekt zwischen Devan Simunovich
(USA 25) und Nika Offenbac (USA 27). Es wurde 2004 in
NYC gegründet und produziert Musikvideos, Fachmessen-Designs
und 3D-Visualisierungen für interaktive
Lounges, Bildmaterial für Konzerttourneen und Animationen
für Film und Fernsehen. Neben ihrer kommerziellen
Arbeit wurden ihre Filme und Performances international
auf Festivals und in Clubs gezeigt, sowie in
diverse Kompilationen aufgenommen.
We follow the Broker and Dealer as they amass a corporate
empire with their new videophone dating technology. Little does
the public know that they are secretly the hit pop group Broker
Dealer, and the video phone is actually part of an automated
machine surveillance network that creates their music.
C-Trl Labs is the professional and artistic collaboration of
Devan Simunovich (USA 25) and Nika Offenbac (USA
27). Founded in NYC in 2004, projects range, from music videos,
tradeshow design and 3D visualization to interactive lounges, concert
tour visuals, and animation for broadcast and film. In addition
to their commercial work their films and performances have
been curated internationally in festivals and clubs as well as various
compilations.
