Die Rockgeschichte ist laut dem Buch Sex Revolts, ein Hin- und Herschwingen<br />
zwischen Flucht und Sehnsucht nach dem Mutterleib. Es ist das<br />
Verlangen nach Geborgenheit und Unverantwortung, der die Menschen<br />
treibt. Mit ›Come in, I'll give you Shelter‹ (Uterus) greife ich den Suchenden<br />
vorweg. Hier ist er nun der Uterus, der Mythos. Die Installation besteht aus<br />
einem Zelt und einer dichten Soundkulisse - einem Versuch in Weiblichkeit:<br />
Ein dunkler Raum. Die Besucher klettern in das Zelt und werden aufgenommen<br />
in eine Welt der Harmonie. Lichtspiele und Blumenbilder werden auf<br />
die Zeltwände projiziert. Zur Flora kommen Klänge, zusammengestellt aus<br />
›weiblichen‹ Liedern und schwingenden Brückengeräuschen. Diese Installation<br />
ist ein Experiment, um herauszufinden, wie die Zeltgäste auf die konstruierte<br />
Welt reagieren. Werden sie Zuflucht im Uterus suchen? Werden sie ihm<br />
so schnell wie möglich entkommen wollen?<br />

According to the book Sex Revolts, the history of rock is an oscillation between escaping<br />
from and yearning for the womb. It is the longing for security and irresponsibility that<br />
drive the people. With ›Come in, I'll give you Shelter‹ (Uterus) I anticipate the needs of<br />
those searching. Here it is, the uterus, the myth. The installation is composed of a tent<br />
and a dense background sound - an experiment in femininity: A dark room. The visitors<br />
climb into the tent and are admitted into a world of harmony. Light variations and<br />
images of flowers are projected onto the tent walls. The flora is joined by sounds, made up<br />
of ›female‹ songs and oscillating bridging sounds. This installation is an experiment to<br />
ascertain how the guests react to the constructed world in the tent. Will they seek refuge<br />
in the uterus? Will they want to escape from it as quickly as possible?<br />
