DIE UNERTRÄGLICHE SEICHTIGKEIT
Eva Becker
Minenspiel seinen Worten Ausdruck verleiht.
Theater Halle (Saale). Bis 2005 Meisterschülerin bei Prof.
Alba D'Urbano (HGB).
The curator Prof. Dr. Jean Christoph Ammann is standing at a
desk, starting a speech. But you only see his long rhetoric pauses,
underlining his words with big gestures and distinct facial expression.
The ›Art / artificial Pauses‹ are extracted from the opening
speech of the exhibition ›Sieben mal Malerei‹ (Seven times painting)
2003 in the Museum of Fine Arts Leipzig. This exhibition was
dedicated to the ›The New Leipzig School‹ of painters.
Ein melankomischer Film über Männer und Frauen,
die Anzahl der Dinge und natürlich... CHER! Obwohl
etwas morbide Coverversion von ›You can
leave your hat on‹ von Joe Cocker, welche eher beiläufig
entstand... und natürlich von anderen schlechten Dingen,
wie Cher.
A melancomic movie about men & women, the number of things
and of course... Cher! On the surface a quite clear story is told, but
the more important thing at this film was, to create a kind of
weird atmosphere wich puts the audience into a state somewhere
between amusement and unease.
I was mostly inspired by a very bad and partly morbid cover
version of ›You can leave your head on‹ by Joe Cocker, that was
even made alongside, I liked the mood of the song, and the according
pictures were arising... and I was inspired by other bad
things... like Cher.
