Der Film, der versucht, für den Zuschauer Einsteins<br />
Werk zu realisieren, indem er es auf eine Geschichte<br />
anwendet. Der Film ist verrückt, romantisch und in der<br />
Theorie korrekt; und erzählt die Geschichte eines Supermodels,<br />
das gerade Aufnahmen auf dem Mars beendet<br />
hat. Nun kommt sie mit einem Hochgeschwindigkeitszug<br />
auf dem Züricher Bahnhof an um den Mann zu treffen,<br />
mit dem sie sich geschrieben hat und den sie zu lieben<br />
glaubt. Im Zug, der annähernd mit Lichtgeschwindigkeit<br />
fährt, unterhält sie sich mit Albert Einstein, der ihr<br />
hilft, den Charakter ihrer Reise zu verstehen.<br />
James Morgan lebt als Konzeptkünstler in Silicon<br />
Valley. Seine Arbeiten beschäftigen sich mit Medien<br />
Theorie, ihrer Übersetzung, Virtualität und der von<br />
ihnen unabhängigen Kultur. Seine aktuellen Arbeiten<br />
beinhalten öffentliche Wahrnehmung und Theorie.<br />
The film is a short movie which takes the work of Einstein and<br />
attempts to make it real to the viewer by applying it to a narrative.<br />
The film is whimsical, romantic and theoretically correct, and<br />
tells the story of a Supermodel who has finished a shoot on Mars.<br />
She is coming to the Zurich station on a superfast train to meet<br />
the man she has corresponded with and who she thinks she loves.<br />
On the train which travels near the speed of light she talks to Einstein<br />
who helps her understand the nature of her journey.<br />
James Morgan is a conceptual artist who lives in Silicon<br />
Valley. His work deals with theory, translation, virtuality and culture<br />
independant of media. His current works involve public perceptions<br />
and theory.<br />

Emma Daman, *1983, lebt und arbeitet in Cardiff, UK.<br />
2005 erhielt sie ihren Abschluss in Bildende Künste an<br />
der University of Wales, Cardiff. Als Ausgangspunkt für<br />
ihre Videoarbeiten dient oft der Sound und sie hat bisher<br />
experimentelle Musikvideos gedreht (www.videoface.co.uk).<br />

working. A video made from found footage about making videos<br />
from found footage. All samples are taken from the Prelinger<br />
Archives, the world's largest and most widely used collection of<br />
ephemeral films.<br />
Emma Daman, *1983, lives and works in Cardiff, UK. She<br />
received her Fine Art degree at the University of Wales, Cardiff, in<br />
2005. Her video works often use sound as a starting point, and she<br />
has previously made experimental music videos.<br />
