MONITORING, MAINTENANCE, AND RECORDKEEPING <strong>Permit</strong> No. 13120Expiration Date: September 12, 2013Page 199 of291activity lasting longer than 45 seconds during a 15 minute interval, Boeingmay continue to observe visible emissions for an additional 45 minutes oruntil visible emissions have been observed for a total of 3 minutes in thehour, whichever is a shorter period. Ifvisible emissions are observed for atotal 00 minutes during the 60 minute observation, or if visible emissionshave been observed for a total of 45 seconds during the 15 minuteobservation and Boeing did not elect to continue the visible emissioninspection as described above, Boeing shall, as soon as practicable butwithin 24 hours of the initial observation eithero Take corrective action, which may include shutting down the unit oractivity until it can be repaired, until there are no visible emissions(or until the unit or activity is demonstrated to be in compliancewith all applicable opacity limitations in the permit using thereference test method); or,o Alternatively, determine the opacity using the reference test method.• Failure to take action as described above, is a deviation of this permit and mustbe reported under Section V.M Compliance certifications or V. Q Reporting ofthis permit.• All observations using the opacity reference test method shall be reportedaccording to V.Q.4 Method 9A Reports.• Boeing shall check for evidence of fugitive dust or fallout outside from theequipment or the exhaust stacie If the fugitive dust or fallout from theequipment or the exhaust stack is observed, Boeing shall, as soon as practicablebut no later than within 24 hours of determination, correct the problem, shutdown the operation until it is repaired or corrected, or report according toSection V.Q.5 Report of Problems not Corrected Within 24 Hours.
