Regulations pertaining to the<br />
utilisation <strong>of</strong> Reserves have<br />
been finalised. Services and<br />
Divisions are implementing the<br />
new enrolment form and service<br />

The target was achieved. Two<br />
editions <strong>of</strong> the Reserve Force<br />
Volunteer magazine were published<br />
and distributed nationally to<br />
business and organised labour<br />
as well as internally in the DOD.<br />
Various mediums were utilised<br />
to market the Reserves, inter<br />
alia: advertisements, the website,<br />
magazine articles and open days.<br />
The Division enables opinionformer<br />
contact sessions hosted by<br />

system is actively engaged and<br />
has achieved 60% <strong>of</strong> target.<br />
Chief <strong>Defence</strong> Reserves briefed<br />
chairpersons and chief executive<br />
<strong>of</strong>ficers <strong>of</strong> the top 40 companies<br />
in the RSA on the Reserve System<br />
and received in-principle support<br />
for the Reserves from them.<br />

The establishment <strong>of</strong> the regional<br />
CSND forums made progress.<br />
The Business Liaison Forum was<br />
successfully established in<br />
KwaZulu-Natal and is fully<br />
functioning in the region. The<br />
establishment <strong>of</strong> Business Liaison<br />
Forums in the other regions is set<br />
for completion in 2008.<br />
