The ADTRAN Data Link Protocol (ADLP) provides a communications link between ADTRAN<br />

equipment over point-to-point or multidrop connections that can be used for configuring and monitoring<br />

remote ADTRAN devices. Choose ENABLE to activate the ADLP over the FDL for the DS1 interface.<br />

MODULES (T1/PRI-1) > TEST<br />

Write security: 5; Read security: 5<br />

These options initiate different types of tests and display test results.<br />

MODULES (T1/PRI-1) > TEST > PRT<br />

Read security: 5<br />

Displays the port number.<br />

MODULES (T1/PRI-1) > TEST > LOC LB<br />

Write security: 4; Read security: 5<br />

Initiates a loopback on near-end (local) port (see Figure 9). The following options are available:<br />

LINE Metallic loopback<br />

PAYLD Payload loopback - framing and clocking are regenerated<br />

DS1<br />

NI CSU<br />

T1/PRI<br />
