Specifies the configuration parameters for the endpoint.The selections displayed in this field are based on<br />

the type of module selected in the SLOT/SVC option. For detailed information on submenus for a particular<br />

module type, please refer to the dial plan interface configuration menu discussion for the appropriate<br />

network, option, or resource module.<br />

Some of the options available in this submenu change depending on the type of modules<br />

selected in the SLOT/SVC or PORT/PEP fields. For more information on these submenus,<br />

refer to the individual module interface configuration menu discussions in this section.<br />

The substitution template allows the <strong>ATLAS</strong> <strong>550</strong> to select calls (based on telephone number) and substitute<br />

a user-defined number for the received digits after the call has been processed by the switchboard.<br />

Substitution templates are created for each entry in the DIAL PLAN.<br />

Write security: 3; Read security: 5<br />

Designates the number(s) to be the search criteria for the substitution template. The pattern can be a<br />

specific number, or wildcards can be used as part of the number specification.<br />

X = Any single digit<br />

N = Any single digit 2 through 9<br />

$ = Any number of digits of any value<br />

9 = This specific number<br />

[1,2,3...] = A single digit in this group<br />

Example: 963-812[012] would be 963-8120 to 963-8122.<br />

Designates the number to be substituted for the number(s) defined in the ORIGINAL# field. The pattern can<br />

be a specific number, or wildcards can be used as a part of the number specification.<br />

X = Any single digit<br />

N = Any single digit 2 through 9<br />

$ = Any number of digits of any value<br />

9 = This specific number<br />

[1,2,3...] = A single digit in this group<br />

Punctuation characters ( ) - + are ignored and a comma is interpreted as a .5 second pause in the dial string.<br />
