Section 5 DLP-2 ATLAS 550 System Manual
Perform the steps below in the order listed.
1. After connecting to the system, press any key to display the LOGIN screen shown here. The blinking
cursor at the LOGIN field indicates that a password must be entered.
2. Enter the password for the ATLAS 550 at the LOGIN field. The manufacturer’s default password for the
ATLAS 550 system is “password” in lowercase letters.
3. Upon entering the correct password, the ATLAS 550 MAIN MENU is displayed as shown below.
4. You are now logged in to the ATLAS menu system.
Because the ATLAS 550 grants users six levels of access, you may not be able to use all of
the menus—check with your system administrator. The lowest level of access (Level 5) is
read-only, and allows a user to see, but not change, the current configuration of the
system. The top level of access (Level 0) is read-write and allows the user to both see and
change system configuration parameters. After initial log in, the System Administrator is
able to define levels of access for various users. (See DLP-5, Adding and Removing Users
