The amount of time to delay after clearing an alarm before coming out of backup. This only applies to<br />

originating endpoints. If the circuit goes into alarm before this time has expired, the endpoint will remain<br />

in backup.<br />

Write security: 3; Read security: 5<br />

The backup endpoint will attempt this many retries before giving up and declaring a backup failure. This<br />

only applies to originating endpoints.<br />

The amount of time delayed between a failed backup call and the redial. This only applies to originating<br />

endpoints.<br />

Use this menu to schedule the times when backup is enabled. The following selections are available for the<br />

ENABLE SCHEDULE menu item.<br />

ENABLE TIME<br />

This is the time of day to enable dial backup.<br />

DISABLE TIME<br />

Write security: 3; Read security: 5<br />

This is the time of day to disable dial backup. If the disable time is earlier than the enable time,<br />

backup monitoring will be active across midnight.<br />

DAYS ENABLED<br />

Write security: 3; Read security: 5<br />

Use this record to enable/disable backup monitoring on particular days of the week.<br />

This only applies to originating endpoints. Use this menu to schedule regularly occurring test calls. The<br />
