Session Menu<br />

Opens VT100 terminal emulation session.<br />

Connect<br />

Opens a specified serial port for a VT100 session.<br />

Disconnect<br />

Closes a specified serial port at the end of a VT100 session.<br />

File Transfer<br />

Uploads and downloads files to and from an <strong>ATLAS</strong> <strong>550</strong>.<br />

XMODEM CRC<br />

Selects the XMODEM file transfer protocol.<br />

ASCII Cfg Files<br />

Selects ASCII transfer mode. Primarily useful for configuration transfers for the ADTRAN products.<br />

Edit Menu<br />

Identical to the Telnet EDIT MENU (see Edit Menu on page 382).<br />

Port Menu<br />

Changes serial COM port SETTINGS. Provides data<br />

rate settings from 300—57600 bps.<br />

Options Menu<br />

Provides terminal screen commands.<br />

Refresh Screen<br />

Redraws the screen.<br />

Connect<br />

Provides the options TRANSMIT WAKEUP and<br />

TRANSMIT REFRESH.<br />

Transmit Wakeup<br />

Provides a control sequence that puts the <strong>ATLAS</strong> <strong>550</strong> Control Port online in terminal mode.<br />

Transmit Refresh<br />

Provides a control sequence to refresh the screen automatically when connecting. (This is the default<br />

setting for the <strong>ATLAS</strong> <strong>550</strong>.)<br />

Colors<br />

Identical to Telnet COLORS MENU (see Colors on page 382).<br />

Local Echo<br />

Echoes each character that you enter.<br />

AutoRepeat<br />

Repeats characters you select from the keyboard, if you hold down the key.<br />
