Player Profile and Description of ServicesAccording to the CSCMP (Council of Supply-Chain Management Professionals):"<strong>Logistics</strong> is that part of supply-chain management that plans, implements, and controls theefficient, effective, forward and reverse flow and storage of goods, services and relatedinformation between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meetcustomers' requirements."<strong>Logistics</strong> includes, on the one hand, the physical processes of supply and distribution and,on the other hand, processes of so-called "reverse logistics", i.e. return operations forproducts and equipment (pallets, etc.) used in the context of supply and distribution.<strong>Logistics</strong> includes all activities related to physical distribution, i.e. all modes of transport andtheir intermodality, as well as various operations carried out in warehouses and logisticshubs: storage, stock management, order preparation and shipment.
