Supervisors with pattern 3 have not either developed such skills, but in<br />

these cases the supervisors do not seem to be aware of their inability to<br />

act in accordance with the goals of the supervision sessions.<br />

A comparison between study 1 and 2 when it comes to supervisors'<br />

learning shows that several supervisors advanced towards an emancipatory<br />

learning, but rather many are trapped in the same pattern as before<br />

and confirm or consolidate the group because supervisors are unable to<br />

transform their knowledge into action. These supervisors still have difficulties<br />

after five years of grappling with the same problems, such as to<br />

keep the focus of the talks, to ask questions and to resist.<br />
