Supervisors with pattern 3 have not either developed such skills, but in
these cases the supervisors do not seem to be aware of their inability to
act in accordance with the goals of the supervision sessions.
A comparison between study 1 and 2 when it comes to supervisors'
learning shows that several supervisors advanced towards an emancipatory
learning, but rather many are trapped in the same pattern as before
and confirm or consolidate the group because supervisors are unable to
transform their knowledge into action. These supervisors still have difficulties
after five years of grappling with the same problems, such as to
keep the focus of the talks, to ask questions and to resist.
