Społeczna odpowiedzialność wyzwaniem
dla rachunkowości
Abstract. An increasing number of managers consider the issue
of responsible business in the activities of their companies. Companies
recognize the increasing importance of ethical behaviour in
business, and are open to the needs of local communities, people
in need, educational institutions, and NGOs. Many companies
have introduced, or just start to implement the principles of Corporate
Social Responsibility(CSR). However, a serious dilemma
appears about companies’ ability to inform their stakeholders
about CSR activities and measurable results of these actions in
a fair, truthful, understandable and useful way. This article concentrates
on the necessity and possibility of expanding traditional
accounting system by implementation of CSR accounting approach,
that is one of the main challenges facing accounting today.
1. Wstęp
Rachunkowość ma na celu odzwierciedlanie rzeczywistości ekonomicznej
oraz stanowi bazę dla podejmowania decyzji ekonomicznych.
Rozwój rachunkowości zarządczej w szczególności, ale również rachunkowości
finansowej w epoce postindustrialnej kształtowany jest w dużym
stopniu przez dwa podejścia; rachunkowość odpowiedzialności
społecznej oraz rachunkowość zasobów ludzkich, czy też szerzej kapitału
