Mortgage system development in Turkmenistan
Abstract. The paper analyzed the performance of mortgage Turkmenistan for the period
2000–2010 rr. Presented data on the state of the housing market and the proposed
model and the proposed extended‐open model of mortgage lending.
Keywords: extended‐open model, mortgage, mortgage capital, mortgage market,
housing, socio‐economic policy.
Production problems in general and its relationship to important
scientific and practical tasks. Mortgage requires investment of resources
in its development of long‐term basis. But in terms of risk inherent in financial
and economic crisis, investors are unwilling to invest in longterm
projects.
Experience has shown that in terms of financial and economic crisis of
2008–2010 years. Turkmenistan has managed to retain the volume of housing
construction, but also to increase them because of the country experience in
forming strategic directions of the mortgage market is very interesting.
Analysis of recent studies and publications which discuss the problem.
The institutionally issues of the mortgage market were a number of
domestic and foreign scientists.
However, participation in state funding the mortgage market are not
sufficiently open. World economic crisis 20082010 years found inadequate
secondary market for mortgage‐backed securities in the U.S. and
