MANDATORY EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY LANGUAGEN.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17:27Goods,Proressional Servicés and General Service Contracts(Mandatory Affrmative Action Language) .During the performance ofthis contract, the contractor agrees as follows:The contractor or subcontractor, where applicable, wil not discri.inate against any employee orapplicant for employment because of age, race, creed, color, national origin, ancestr, maritalstatus,. affectional or sexual orientation or sex. Exçept with respect to aff6ctional or sexual .orientation,.the contractor,wil take affmnative.action to ensure that such applicants are recruitedand employed; and that .employees are treated durng employment, without regard to their age,race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, marital status, affectional or sexual orientation orsex. Such action shall indude, but not be limited to the following: employment, upgrading,demotion,' or transfer; recruitment or recrutment advertising; layoff or termation; rates of payor other forms of coi;pensation; and selection for training, including apprenticeship.
