Resolution of the City of Jersey City, N.J.City Clerk File No.Agenda No.Approved:TITLE:Res. 09-71610.NSEP 0 9 2009RESOLUTION OF THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JERSEYCITY AMENDING PROGRAM CONTRACTS UNDER THE COMMUNITYSERVICES BLOCK GRANT (CSBG) FOR PROGRAM YEAR OCTOBER 1,2007 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2009COUNCILfollowing resolution:offered and moved adoption of theWHEREAS, the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) has awarded the Cityof Jersey City a Community Services Block Grant (No. 2008-05235-1869) of $914,992.00 forOctober 1, 2007 through September 30, 2009; andWHEREAS, as noted in resolution number 08-084 approved on February 13, 2008, the Cityanticipated receiving $880,902.00 in CSBG funds for FY2007 - 2009; andWHEREAS, the City's allocation for FY2007 - 2009 was increased by $34,090.00 to receivea full allocation of $914,992.00; andWHEREAS, the City has an available balance of $32,242.00 due to the cancellation of theACORN Housing Corporation Homeownership Counseling & Loan Assistance program; and.
