17 . ENVIRONMENTAL RESTRICTIONSWithin the limits of their respective legal powers, the parties to this License willprotect the Premises against polluting of its air, ground, and water. The Grantee andany sub-Grantee or assignee will comply with the applicable Federal, state and locallaws, regulations, and standards that are, or may become, applicable to Grantee'sactivities on the Premises. The disposal within the Premises of any toxic or hazardousmaterials is specifically prohibited.18. SEVERAL GRANTEESIf more than one Grantee is named in this License the obligations of saidGrantees herein contained shall be joint and several obligations.19. MODIFICATIONSThis License, including all of its attachments, contain the entire agreementbetween the parties hereto, and no modification of this agreement, or waiver, or consenthereunder shall be valid unless the same be in writing, signed by the parties to bebound or by a duly authorized representative and this provision shall apply to thiscondition as well as all other conditions of this License.20. OTHER REQUIREMENTS/CONDITIONSa. In consideration for this license Grantee, shall pay for utilities to US ArmyCorps of Engineers on a contract basis.b. The <strong>City</strong> of <strong>Jersey</strong> <strong>City</strong> Police Departments' equipment installed at the sitewill function independently with no interoperability or interference with current and futuregovernment equipment on the site. The <strong>City</strong> of <strong>Jersey</strong> <strong>City</strong> is responsible for the correctinstallation and maintenance of their equipment. The physical integrity of the buildingshall not be affected by the installation of this equipment.
