Continuation of ResolutionCity Clerk File No. Res.09-155Agenda No.10.Z.27Pg.#2TITLE:SEP 0 9 2009RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENTFOR BIDS FOR THE SALE OF AN EASEMENT AFFECTINGCERTAIN REAL PROPERTY KNOWN AS146 BELMONTAVENUE NOT NEEDED FOR A PUBLIC PURPOSE PURSUANT TON.J.S.A. 40A: 12-13 (a)4. The successive bidder shall reimburse the City for the cost of advertising thisresolution.5. The City of Jersey City reserves the right in protection of the best interests of theCity to waive any technical error, to reject any or all bids, or part thereof for anyreason whatsoever. .6. Acceptance or rejections of the bid or bids shall be made not later than the secondregular meeting of the Municipal Council following the opening of the bids, and,if the Municipal Council shall not accept such highest bid, or reject all bids, saidbids shall be deemed to have been rejected.7. The Easement Agreement shall be signed by all parties within fourteen (14)days from the adoption of a resolution by thé Municipal Council authorizingthe Easement Agreement. In the eVent that this deadline is missed, the parties mayagree in wrting to an extension of the time limit set forth above at the request ofthe City.8. Ifno bids are received at the time and date advertised for the reception of bids,the CitY reserves the right to adjoti the bid reception at the time advertised fornot more than one (l) week without readvertising.9. Bids must be presented by the bidder or his representative at the stated time andplaces advertised.
