services, etc., in order to carry out their assignments and wil contract with those service providersupon the approval of the City. With the exception of the court reporters, Special Counsel shallnotify the City of their engagement of all third-party service providers and obtain authorization forthose services from the City. The Special Counsel wil pay all third-party service providers directlyand wil bil the City for those services detailed disbursements included in monthly invoices. ThisCity wil not accept separate invoices from service providers directly to the City for payment.If the Special Counsel receives discounts from messenger services, title agencies,investigators or other categories of service provider, those discounts must be passed on tot he Cityand noted on each in voice.The City does not agree to pay for the following disbursements unless specifically approvedin advance for any specific matter by the City.· word processing;· secretaries' overtime, proofreading, placing or organizing documents in files;· meals;· first class air or rail travel, chauffeur driven limousines;· hotel accommodations; and· charges for use of conference rooms or office space.Should the services of one or more other persons with Special Counsel's firm be deemednecessary and approved, the City expects that an appropriate number of attorneys and paralegalsat all practice levels wil be available for assignent to its matters so that matters can be handledin the most efficient maner possible.
