Never insert the power supply upside down.4. Push the power supply front panel toward the back of the router. Follow these steps to connect AC power.NOTEFor the NEBS-compliant installation, AC power connections must use a surge protection device(SPD) to protect the AC power supplies from damage due to excessive power line surges.Follow these steps to connect AC power to your router.1. Locate the power supply AC Inlet at the bottom rear of chassis for the associated installedpower supply as shown in Figure 132.2. Lift the cord-retainer and connect an AC power cord to the power supply. Refer to Figure 132.3.
