7Managing interface modules• The parameter specifies the name of the image from which to boot the interfacemodule.• The parameter specifies the slot number that contains the interface modulethat will undergo an immediate boot. If you save this configuration by entering thewrite memory comm<strong>and</strong>, the system implements the automatic boot starting with the nextsoftware reload or system reset <strong>and</strong> each reload or reset after that.Configuring an automatic boot from the auxiliary flash slot on the management moduleTo configure an automatic boot for all interface modules from auxiliary flash slot1 on themanagement module, enter the following comm<strong>and</strong> at the global CONFIG level of the CLI.<strong>Brocade</strong>(config)# lp boot system slot1 primary allSyntax: lp boot system [slot1 | slot2] [all | ]• The slot1 <strong>and</strong> slot2 keywords indicate the auxiliary flash slot on the management module fromwhich to boot the interface modules.• The parameter specifies the name of the image from which to boot the interfacemodules.• The all | parameter specifies that the automatic boot applies to all interfacemodules in the device or to an interface module in the specified device slot number only.
