Slide the router down so that the mounting screw heads are in the narrowest part of thekeyhole slots.5. Tighten the screws to secure the router in place. For extra support, use additional screws.NOTEFor better grounding of the router to the rack, attach the router using star washers. The recommendedsequence for the Brocade MLXe-4 router is to install right-to-left, beginning with the lowest row andmoving up.For instructions about installing 2x100GbE interface modules, refer to “Installing 2x100GbEinterface modules in Brocade MLXe routers” on page 67.NOTEInstallation procedures are identical for interface, management and switch fabric modules.DANGERThe intra-building ports of the equipment or subassembly is suitable for connection tointra-building or unexposed wiring or cabling only. The intra-building ports of the equipment orsubassembly MUST NOT be metallically connected to interfaces that connect to the outside plant(OSP) or its wiring. These interfaces are designed for use as intra-building interfaces only (Type 2or Type 4 ports as described in GR-1089-CORE, Issue 5) and require isolation from the exposedOSP cabling.
