8Replacing fan assembliesFIGURE 249Removing the louver on a legacy chassis.The louvers will fall out of the fan assembly faceplate as you pull out the roll pins. Refer toFigure 249.4. Remove the fan assembly h<strong>and</strong>le by detaching the two screws from the inside of the fanassembly faceplate using a Phillips screwdriver. Orient the upward deflector on the fan assembly faceplate so that the exhaust will flow upward<strong>and</strong> the holes in the upward deflector align with the holes where the screws secure the h<strong>and</strong>leto the fan assembly faceplate.
