When populating the router, start with the middleslot, and work towards the edge. Always fill the bottom slots of the upper and lower card cage of therouter first. Refer to Figure 8 on page 12 for slot locations.The following rules apply when installing modules in a 32-slot router:• Do not insert interface modules running software releases below 02.3.00 into slots 17 to 32 ofa Brocade MLX-32 router.
