Received a venire for the drawing <strong>of</strong> four men to serve as<br />

traverse jurors at the Superior Court to be holden at Cambridge, the per-<br />

-sons so drawn to appear and attend the first.. session, <strong>of</strong> said court on Mon-<br />

day the third day <strong>of</strong> February, 1930 at ten o'clock in the forenoon, (crim-<br />

inal business)<br />

The fcox containing the names being shaken, and the slips or<br />

ballots bearing the names being mixed, .Alderman .Haviean,'_being designated by<br />

the .mayor for that purpose, drew from the box and read aloud, names as follows :<br />

1. John Mclntyre 22 Hall street.. Teamster<br />

2. Samuel M. Robertson 52 Ossipee rd., . . . Leather worker<br />

3. 'John C. Smith 55 Josephine ..ave. . . Printer<br />

4. Verne 0. Bosworth 37 Burnside .ave. Salesman<br />

on Monday the tenth day <strong>of</strong> February 1930., at ten. o. '.clock .In. the forenoon<br />

Alderman Havican drew names as follows:<br />

2. Leon T. Hutchins 28 Franklin, st. Bank clerk *<br />

3. Alvin Taylor 22 Auburn ave. . Inspector<br />

4. Arthur P. Coty 20 Fisk ave. Pattern maker<br />

The slips or ballots bearing the names were, passed. .by the al-<br />

derman to the mayor who verified the names and passed. them .to the president,<br />

who passed them to the city clerk who also verified the names by reading thei i<br />

aloud from said slips or ballots which were then duly endorsed, and returned<br />

to the jury box.<br />

The purpose <strong>of</strong> his presence, with. the board having been accom-<br />

plished, his honor the mayor retired, escorted by. the city messenger and the<br />

committee above named, to wit, Aldermen Carroll and Pearson.<br />
