Report <strong>of</strong> Committee accepted and orders read twice and adopted<br />

Order transfer $1,000 from Overlayto P.B.D. Maintenance Municipal Buildings,<br />

reported recommending its adoption.<br />

.Question came on accepting the report <strong>of</strong> Committee and on<br />

passing the order to its second reading. Alderman Gobron invoked section 15<br />

and further action delayed for this meeting. Later in the same meeting Alder-<br />

man Gobron requested that he be allowed to withdraw this objection. The or-<br />

der was then read twice and adopted.<br />

Order for the issuance <strong>of</strong> $475,000 Southern Junior High School Additions and<br />

Alterations bonds, reported recommending its<br />

adoption.<br />

The within order having been referred to the Committee on Fi-<br />

nance, said committee reported recommending the adoption <strong>of</strong> said order. The<br />

question then came on accepting the report <strong>of</strong> committee. Said report <strong>of</strong> com-<br />

mittee was accepted. Question then came on passing the order to its second<br />

reading. T he vote was by roll call, 19 aldermen voting in the affirmative, 2<br />

aldermen being absent. Under the rules <strong>of</strong> the board, section 6, article 5,<br />

which is in part "that no order authorizing a loan shall have more than one<br />

reading on the same day" on motion <strong>of</strong> Alderman Stynes the question came on<br />

the suspension <strong>of</strong> the rules. The vote was by roll call, 20 aldermen voting<br />

in the affirmative, 1 alderman being absent. The question then came on the<br />
