Order for issuance of $100,000 Equipment for Collection of
Ashes and Debris "bonds, which at the last meeting in compliance with the
rules was laid on the table, received action as follows:
Question 1 came on passing the order to its. second reading. Al-
derman Sherman invoked Section 15 and further action delayed for this meeting
Order Committee on Public Property make inspection of public
buildings, etc, which at the last meeting was laid on the table under section
15 of the city charter, was
Taken from the table and question came on the adoption of the
order. The vote was by roll call, 13 voting in the affirmative, 3 voting in
the negative, 4 being absent and the president not voting, the order was
adopted.
MOTIONS, ORGBKS AND RESOLUTIONS.
The president offered the following orders,
Ordered:
The sum of One Thousand dollars ($1,000.00)
is hereby transferred from the Legislative Council account, to the Law de-
partment. .
Question came on passing the order to its second reading. Al-
derman Sherman made a motion that order be laid on the table, which was lost
by vote of 9 to 8. Question then came on the adoption of the order. Alderman
Sherman invoked Section 15 and further action delayed for this meeting.
Ordered:
The sum of thirteen hundred five and 94/100
(1305.94) dollars is hereby transferred .from Municipal Employment Service to
Executive Department account.
Question came on the adoption of the order. Alderman Sherman
made a motion that order lay on the table. The vote was by roll call> 15 vot-
ing in the affirmative, 1 voting in the negative, 4 being absent and the ori
der was laid on the table.
Ordered;
Pending the adoption .of the Annual Budget, the
sum of four thousand (4,000) dollars is hereby appropriated for Soldiers 1
Relief account.
Read twice and adopted.
