To the Board of Aldermen of Somerville,
Gentlemen:
The undersigned, a member of the Committee on.Licenses and Permits
hereby dissents from the'report of said committee, submitted this evening
whereby it is recommended that the Metropolitan Ice Company be given leave
to withdraw on its petition, for license to erect and use tanks for the
»
storage of fuel oil at 521 Washington street, and I respectfully report
recommending' that such license be granted.

Question came on substituting minority report for the majori-
ty report. The vote was by roll call, 2 voting in the affirmative, 17 voting
in the negative, 2 being 'absent and the minority report was not substituted
for the majority report.
The question then came on accepting the report of the com-
mittee. The vote was taken and the petitioner was given leave to withdraw.
