Question came on laying the report of committee on the table,
this was lost by a vote of 10 to 6. Question then came bn-jreferrihg same-back
t& Committee on Licenses and Permits. This was lost by a vote of 9 to 7.
Question then came on accepting the report of_Committee. Aldermen Stynes,
Cronin, Havican, O'Connell and Walsh invoked Section 15 and further action
delayed.
Order appropriating $1,000 for Law Department pending adop-
tion of annual budget for Legislative Counsel, which at the meeting of Mar.
15,1930 further action was delayed under section 15 of the city charter, re-
ceived action as follows:
Question came on the adoption of the order. Vote was by roll
call, 16 voting in the affirmative, 4 in the negative, 1 being absent and
the order was read twice and adopted.-
Approved by the mayor April 1, 1950.
Petition Arthur D. Raymond for license for the storage of
gasoline which at the meeting of Mar. 13, 1930, further action was delayed
under section 15 of the city charter, received action,as follows:

was accepted, 12 voting in the affirmative, 4 voting in the negative, 5 being
absent or not voting.
Petition Michele Capodilupo for license for the storage of
gasoline lots A and B Washington st. or No. 199-201-203, which at the last
meeting, further action was delayed under section 15 of the city charter,
received action as follows:
Question came on accepting the report of committee. A voice
vote was taken and report of committee accepted.

MOTIONS, ORDERS AND RESOLUTIONS.
The president offered the following order,
Ordered:
That bonds of the city of Somerville be issued
Equipment for Collection of Ashes and Debris honda in the aggregate
principal sum of one hundred"thousand (100,000) dollars. These bonds
may be issued from time to time and are to be dated the first secular day of
January, April July or u ctober in the year of their issue and made payable
in accordance with the provisions ofChapter 44 of the General Laws as amended
the proceeds derived from the sale of the said one hundred thousand (100,000)'
dollars of bonds to be used for and are hereby appropriated for the Equipment
for Collection of Ashes and Debris namely purchase of trucks and other equipment
necessary for the above mentioned, collections.
The treasurer of the city of Somerville with the approval of the
Mayor, is hereby authorized to sell said Equipment for the Collection of
Ashes and Debris bonds at such time or times as in his judgment will best
serve the interest of the city, at not less than par and accrued interest.
