Alderman O'Connell <strong>of</strong>fered the following order,<br />

Ordered:<br />

The city treasurer, the <strong>of</strong>ficer authorized to.-<br />

collect taxes, is hereby empowered to appoint such deputies as he deems exi<br />

(<br />

pedient, which deputies shall severally give bonds in the sum <strong>of</strong> three<br />

thousand dollars for the faithful performance <strong>of</strong> their duties.<br />

Alderman Cronin <strong>of</strong>fered the following order,<br />

Ordered:<br />

That the customary Aldermanic badges be pur- ,<br />

chased for members <strong>of</strong> this board for the_..years 1930 and 1951. The—expense so<br />

incurred to be charged to Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen account.<br />

Bond from the city treasurer in the sum <strong>of</strong> $88,700, signed by the Metropoli-<br />

follows:<br />

surety, approved as to form by the city soli-<br />

citor, question came on referring the bond<br />

to the committee on Finance, Alderman Stynea<br />

<strong>of</strong>fered a motion that the rules be suspended<br />

and the bond having been made out in proper<br />

form be accepted. The rules having been sus-<br />

pended,, the question came on accepting the<br />

bond, and it was. unanimously voted that the<br />

bond be accepted.<br />
