collect taxes, is hereby empowered to appoint such deputies as he deems exi

pedient, which deputies shall severally give bonds in the sum of three
thousand dollars for the faithful performance of their duties.

Alderman Cronin offered the following order,
Ordered:
That the customary Aldermanic badges be pur- ,
chased for members of this board for the_..years 1930 and 1951. The—expense so
incurred to be charged to Board of Aldermen account.

Bond from the city treasurer in the sum of $88,700, signed by the Metropoli-
follows:

surety, approved as to form by the city soli-
citor, question came on referring the bond
to the committee on Finance, Alderman Stynea
offered a motion that the rules be suspended
and the bond having been made out in proper
form be accepted. The rules having been sus-
pended,, the question came on accepting the
bond, and it was. unanimously voted that the
bond be accepted.
