Executive Department

In view of the fact that the Civil Service Commission has
ruled that William G. Barrett Is not 'eligible to become a member of the Fire
Department because he is a member of the present Board of Aldermen. I hereby
appoint, subject to confirmation by your Honorable Board,
as a member of the Fire Department.

Excess and Deficiency Account to the Sanitary Department account, to pro-
vide funds In said department In addition to the appropriation already pro-
vided for said department, said sum of $50,000 and said appropriation'al-
ready made shall be used for all the purposes and requirements necessary
