Precinct 3. A room in the Cutler school on Pew der House blvd.<br />

Precinct 4. The polling booth Lincoln school lot on Broadway.<br />

Precinct 5. The polling booth North street, <strong>City</strong> Home property, between Broad.<br />

way and Powder House blvd.<br />

The Board <strong>of</strong> Election Commissioners are hereby directed to<br />

cause printed descriptions <strong>of</strong> the polling places for each ward to be posted<br />

in at least ten public places in each precinct <strong>of</strong> such ward, the expense so<br />

incurred to be charged to Board <strong>of</strong> ^lection Commissioners' account.<br />

The Commissioner <strong>of</strong> Public Buildings is hereby directed to<br />

cause the said polling places to be provided and suitably prepared for the<br />

purposes <strong>of</strong> said election, the expense so incurred to be charged to Election<br />

Expenses, Commissioner <strong>of</strong> Public Buildings account.<br />

Read twice and adopted.<br />

UNFINISHED BUSINESS.<br />

Draft <strong>of</strong> ordinance amending ordinance relative to police de-<br />

partment which at the meeting <strong>of</strong> Sept. 25, 1930, further action was delayed<br />

under section 15 <strong>of</strong> the city charter, received action as follows:<br />

In Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen Oct. 2, 1930. It having been printed and<br />

a copy laid on the desk <strong>of</strong> each alderman, the ordinance was passed to be en-<br />

rolled. Norman E. Corwin, Clerk.<br />

In Committee on Legislative Matters. u ct. 2, 1930. The said<br />

committee, having examined the within ordinance finds that it is truly and<br />

correctly enrolled and so reports. Philip Sherman, Chairman.<br />

In Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen °ct. 2, 1930. It having been enrolled<br />

and Committee on Legislative Matters having examined same, question came on<br />

passing the ordinance to be ordained. At this point it was discovered several<br />

Aldermen having left the room'no quorum was present. The president announced<br />

that Board could not continue without a quorum, and a motion to adjourn was<br />

entertained.<br />
