Rafferty, Carroll, Lynch, Grattan and vice-president Crowley present.<br />

Reading <strong>of</strong> records commenced; further reading dispensed with<br />

under a suspension <strong>of</strong> the rules and records approved by yea and nay vote, Al-<br />

dermen Gobron, Sherman Knox, Elliott, Perry, Pearson, Stynes, Barrett, Walsh,<br />

Moran, O'Connell, Cronin, Rafferty,Carroll, Lynch, Grnttan, vice-president<br />

Crowley and the president, 18, voting in the affirmative, Aldermen Denning,<br />

Havican and Donovan, 3, being absent at this stage <strong>of</strong> the meeting.<br />

At a recent meeting <strong>of</strong> your Honorable Board, the petitions <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Boston Elevated Railway for the removing <strong>of</strong> the present crossover on Highland<br />

avenue at Davis square to a point on Highland avenue between West street and<br />

Cutter avenue and the relocation <strong>of</strong> a crossover granted by the city <strong>of</strong> Somervllls<br />

May 10, 1923 opposite Chester street on Elm street, but not installed<br />

to a point on Elm street opposite Russell street, were given leave to withdraw.<br />

On the latter location there was some objection on behalf <strong>of</strong> the<br />

church located at Cutter square.<br />
