Received a special venire for the drawing <strong>of</strong> four men to<br />

serve as traverse Jurors at the Superior Court now in session at Cambridge<br />

the persons so drawn to appear and attend the first session <strong>of</strong> said court on<br />

Monday the seventeenth day <strong>of</strong> February 1930 at ten o'clock-in the forenoon.<br />

The box containing the names being shaken and the slips- or<br />

ballots bearing the names being mixed,. Alderman, Denning being designated by<br />

the president for that purpose, drew, from the box and read aloud names as<br />

follows:<br />

Received a special venire for the drawing <strong>of</strong> four men to serve<br />

as traverse jurors at the Superior Court now in session at Cambridge, the<br />

persons so drawn to appear and attend the second session <strong>of</strong> said court on<br />

Alderman Denning drew names as follows:<br />

The slips or ballots bearing the names were passed by the al-<br />

derman to the mayor who verified the names and passed them to the president<br />

who passed them to the city clerk who also verified the names by reading then<br />

aloud from said slips or ballots which were then duly endorsed and returned<br />

to. the jury box.<br />

The purpose <strong>of</strong> his presence with the board having been accom-<br />

plished, his honor the mayor retired escorted by the city messenger and the<br />

committee above named, to wit, Aldermen CrOwley and Sherman.<br />

HEARINGS.<br />

Due notice <strong>of</strong> the hearings having been given by city clerk in<br />

the manner provided by law and provided by ordinance, hearings were given<br />

for all persons desiring to be heard on petitions from,<br />
