rett, Denning, Moran, Havlcan, O'Connell, Cronin, Donovan, Carroll, Rafferty,
Lynch, Grattan and vice-president Crowley present.
' JURORS.
Venires being received for the drawing of jurors, In the ab-
sence ofMiis honor the mayor, the president, as acting mayor, met with the
board of aldermen and the city clerk for the purpose of drawing jurors;
Received a venire for the drawing of five men to serve as
traverse jurors at the Superior Court to be holden at Lowell. The persons so
drawn to appear and attend the first session of said court at Lowell on Tues-
day the second day of September 1930 at ten o'clock in the forenoon. (Crimin-
al business)
The box containing the names being shaken and the slips or
ballots bearing the names being mixed, Alderman Cronin being designated
for that purpose, drew from the box and read aloud names as follows:
