Received from his honor the mayor the following communica-<br />

UNFINISHED BUSINESS.<br />

Order appropriating $50,000 from Excess and Deficiency Ac-<br />

count to Sanitary Dept. which at the last meeting further action was delayed<br />

under section 15 <strong>of</strong> the city charter, was<br />

Taken from table and question came on passing the order to<br />

its second reading. Order was passed to the second reading. Question then<br />

came on adoption <strong>of</strong> the order. Two Aldermen having requested the vote was<br />

by roll call, 10 Aldermen voting in the affirmative, 5 Aldermen voting in<br />

the negative, 5 Aldermen being absent, the president not voting, and order<br />

was read twice and adopted.<br />
