Pockets - there shall be two vertical pockets placed, approximately
12 inches from front edge of coat to front seam of pocket, ono on
each side opening 9-| inches when finished with slits to go through lining.
Pockets shall be not less than 8 inches deep from lower end to open end.

side pockets to be faced inside with 1 inch black mohair braid, and the weltb

Bottom - Single-stitched and stay-taped.
Edges - shall be double-stitched 5/8 inch. Ml seams to be
made plain, except front center seam which is to be lapped'double-stitched
to match edges.
Linings - Body lining all wool, dark blue cheviot, interlined
and padded to wait, quilted over shoulder, around back, and to waistline
only. Silk sewed throughout. Lining and interlining finished at bottom and
left open at'bottom of coat. Sleeves lined with black drill.Fronts made of
jute canvas.
Pacings - Inside facings shall be of the same material as the
coat, approximately 11 inches wide at top, tapering straight to not less
than '4-jg inches wide at the bottom,

Buttonholes - To be well made. ;
Collar - Collar shall be rolling and cut in one piece. Top
and under side shall be of regulation overcoat cloth made with stand, closed
with orie large hook and eye. Collar shall be 4 inches wide, stand collar to
be lined with regulation cloth. Provision shall be made for fastening collar
when turned up by means of a tab to extend across opening, fastened with one
button at each end of collar. Tab to have two buttonholes, one at each end.
Provision made on right forepart,(inside) over breast pocket by two buttons,
to which the tab may be attached.

center of back a tacking of black silk, 2 3/4 inches wide, 4 inches long,
starting _at top to bottom width, from bottom of tacking an inverted pleat,
3 inches deep, extending to bottom of skirt to tacking at center point under
