Resolved:<br />

It is the sense <strong>of</strong> this Board that a hearing be<br />

given by the Public Works"Commission to the people affected by bill-boards<br />

near the <strong>Somerville</strong> avenue bridge at the foot <strong>of</strong> Linwood street, and be it<br />

further<br />

Resolved:<br />

revocation <strong>of</strong> the license for said bill-boards.<br />

Read twice and acbpted.<br />

That this Board go on record in favor <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Alderman Sherman <strong>of</strong>fered the following order,<br />

Ordered:<br />

The Committee on Electric- Lines and Lights is<br />

hereby requested to consider the advisability <strong>of</strong> installing a flood light on<br />

the field house located on Diamond #2 on Dilboy Field.<br />

Adopted.<br />

Alderman Walsh <strong>of</strong>fered the following order,<br />

Ordered:<br />

That the Metropolitan Casualty Company <strong>of</strong> New<br />

York be released from further liability on bond //A-55077 issued to Kirkland<br />

Ga.ragj;_,_Inc. for a sign over the sidewalk at 451 Washington street, a new<br />

bond 'for this sign having been filed with the Central Surety and Insurance<br />

Corporation.<br />

The city clerk is hereby authorized to inform the bonding com-<br />

pany that they are released from further liability.<br />
