Resolved:
It is the sense of this Board that a hearing be
given by the Public Works"Commission to the people affected by bill-boards
near the Somerville avenue bridge at the foot of Linwood street, and be it
further
Resolved:
revocation of the license for said bill-boards.
Read twice and acbpted.
That this Board go on record in favor of the
Alderman Sherman offered the following order,
Ordered:
The Committee on Electric- Lines and Lights is
hereby requested to consider the advisability of installing a flood light on
the field house located on Diamond #2 on Dilboy Field.
Adopted.
Alderman Walsh offered the following order,
Ordered:
That the Metropolitan Casualty Company of New
York be released from further liability on bond //A-55077 issued to Kirkland
Ga.ragj;_,_Inc. for a sign over the sidewalk at 451 Washington street, a new
bond 'for this sign having been filed with the Central Surety and Insurance
Corporation.
The city clerk is hereby authorized to inform the bonding com-
pany that they are released from further liability.
