The president, Alderman Carr, presiding.<br />

Aldermen Gobron, Sherman, Knox, Elliott, Perry, Pearson,<br />

Stynes, Barrett, Walsh, Denning, Moran, Havican, O'Connell, Cronin, Donovan<br />

Rafferty, Carroll, Lynch, .Grattan and vice-president Crowley present.<br />

Reading <strong>of</strong> records commenced; further reading dispensed with<br />

under a suspension <strong>of</strong> the rules and records approved by yea and nay vote,<br />

Aldermen Sherman, Knox, Elliott, Perry, Pearson, Stynes, Barrett, Walsh,<br />

Denning, Cronin, Donovan, Raffert'y, Carroll-, Lynch, Grattan, vice-president<br />

Crowley and the president, 17, voting in the affirmative, Aldermen Gobron,<br />

Moran, Havican and O'Connell,, 4, being absent at this stage <strong>of</strong> the meeting-.<br />

JURORS<br />

Venires being received for the drawing <strong>of</strong> jurors, Aldermen<br />

Knox and Stynes being appointed by the president a committee for that pur-<br />

pose, retired with the city messenger and escorted his honor the mayor into<br />

the presence <strong>of</strong> the board.<br />

Received a venire for the drawing <strong>of</strong> four men to serve as<br />

traverse jurors at the Superior.Court to be holden at Cambridge,•the persons<br />

so drawn to appear and attend the first session <strong>of</strong> said court at Cambridge-<br />

on Monday the seventh day <strong>of</strong> April 1930 at ten o'clock in the forenoon.<br />

The box containing the names being shaken and the slips or<br />

ballots bearing the names being mixed, Alderman Pearson being designated by<br />

the mayor for that purpose, drew from the box and read aloud names as fol-<br />

lows:<br />

Monday the fourteenth day <strong>of</strong> April, 1930, at t'e"n o'clock in the forenoon.<br />
