In pursuance <strong>of</strong> an order passed.July 10, 1930, a hearing wes<br />

given for all persons desiring to be heard relative to revoking permit for<br />

Gross-over Broadway, opposite Liberty avenue, due notice <strong>of</strong> the hearing hav-<br />

ing been given by the city clerk as directed by said order.<br />

Henry D, Roberts <strong>of</strong> 769 Broadway, James J. Lynch <strong>of</strong> 761 Broad-<br />

way representing Mrs. Mooney, Benjamin S. Kent <strong>of</strong> 768 Broadway, Sebastian<br />

Smedile <strong>of</strong> 763 Broadway, Jennie Watson <strong>of</strong> 771 Broadway, Mr. Dixon <strong>of</strong> 6 Liber-<br />

ty avenue, appeared In favor <strong>of</strong> abolishing the cross-over. Twelve persons<br />

raised their hands as appearing in favor. E. L. Larking <strong>of</strong> 128 Pearson road,<br />

representing the Boston Elevated Railway Co. appeared in objection.<br />

On motion <strong>of</strong> Alderman Gobron it was unanimously voted by the<br />

members <strong>of</strong> the board that this permit be revoked.<br />

No other persons interested, appearing and desiring to be<br />

heard, the hearing was closed.<br />

In pursuance <strong>of</strong> an order passed July 18, 1930, a hearing was<br />

given for all persons desiring to be heard relative to revoking second-hand<br />

auto dealer's license granted to the Somervllle Nash Co. due notice <strong>of</strong> the<br />

hearing having been given by the city clerk as directed by said order.<br />

J. J. Caffrey- <strong>of</strong> 60 State street, Boston, Attorney for Som-<br />

erville Nash Co. appeared in objection.<br />

No other persons interested, appearing and desiring to be<br />

heard, the hearing was closed.<br />

Due notice <strong>of</strong> the hearing having been given as appears by<br />

the <strong>of</strong>ficers return recorded on page 327 <strong>of</strong> volume 9 <strong>of</strong> the Records<br />

<strong>of</strong> Laying Out Streets <strong>of</strong> the Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen <strong>of</strong> the city <strong>of</strong> Somervllle,<br />

hearing was given for all persons and corporations interested in the matter<br />

<strong>of</strong> the laying out as a public street or way <strong>of</strong> the city under the provisions<br />

<strong>of</strong> law authorizing the assessment <strong>of</strong> betterments <strong>of</strong><br />

Endlcott avenue.<br />

Endicott avenue, appeared in favor.<br />
