Communication from the secretary <strong>of</strong> the commonwealth giving<br />

notice that Francis J. Mahoney and Charles H. Shea and a number <strong>of</strong> other per-<br />

sons not residents <strong>of</strong> <strong>Somerville</strong> have filed application for certificate <strong>of</strong><br />

incorporation under the name <strong>of</strong> The Kimball Beach Community Club. Inc. for<br />

the purpose <strong>of</strong> the following: To promote the general welfare and good fellow-<br />

ship <strong>of</strong> the members; to provide for the care and maintenance <strong>of</strong> Kimball Beach<br />

Road, Kiijiball Beach and the bathing float, and generally to concern itself<br />

with such matters as affect the common interest <strong>of</strong> the members, to be located<br />

in the town <strong>of</strong> Hingham, said communication being accompanied by a report from<br />

the chief <strong>of</strong> police stating that upon investigation he fails to find that<br />

either <strong>of</strong> the above mentioned persons have ever been engaged in the illegal<br />

selling <strong>of</strong> intoxicating liquors or. in keeping places or tenements for the<br />

purpose <strong>of</strong> illegal gaming or in any other business or vocation prohibited by<br />

law, and both are persons <strong>of</strong> good repute.<br />

Placed on file and certificate to be forwarded to the secre-<br />

tary signed by members <strong>of</strong> the board.<br />
