nated in the licensesor allow any person to stand or sit upon the running
board, step, fender, dash or hood thereof or allow any person otherwise to
ride on such motor vehicle outside the body,thereof; provided, however, that
in addition to the number of passengers which said motor vehicle by the
terms of his license is permitted to carry, children under seven years of
age may be carried therein in arms or seated on the laps of a&vlt persons
accompanying them, but no passenger with a daild in arms or seated on the
lap shall be permitted on any front seat of the vehicle.
Read twice and further action deferred, under the rules, un-
til the ordinance shall have been printed and a copy laid on the desk of
each alderman.

hereby requested to consider the advisability of installing a 100 c.p. light
at 5-7 Dell street.
