Ordered:
The Committee on Public Works is hereby re-
quested to consider the advisability of. constructing granolithic sidewalk be-
tween Alfred street and Winchester street on Broadway.

Ordered:
The Committee on Legisla-tive Matters is hereby
requested to consider the .advisability of drafting an ordinance prohibiting
parking of automobiles and other vehicles for more than one hour, between
the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. on both sides of Medford street from Norwood
avenue and Trull street to Broadway and turning left on Broadway continuing
to Hinckley street.

Resolved:
It is the senae. of this board that the print-
ing for, the city of Somerville should bear the label of the Allied Printing
Trades Council, insofar as it be legal.
Read twice and adopted.
Later in the evening on'motion of Alderman Gobron reconsidered
and resolution referred to Committee on Legislative Matters.
Alderman Perry offered the following order,

The Committee on Public Works is hereby re-
quested to consider the advisability of resurfacing Broadway from School
street tp the top of Winter Hill on both sides.

Alderman Ea£ferty offered the following order,
Ordered:
The action of this board.taken Feb. 13, 1930
in giving leave to withdraw on the petition of the Metropolitan Ice Co. for
license to erect and use tanks for the storage of fuel oil at 321 Washington
street is hereby reconsidered.
The question came on reconsidering previous action. Yea and
nay vote was taken and 11 aldermen voted in the affirmative, 9 aldermen voted
in the negative, 1 alderman being absent.
Alderman Gobron then made a motion that the order be referred
to the Committee on Licenses and Permits.
